Hello! My name is Andreina. I am a writer, researcher, and podcaster. I was born in Venezuela, but I live in beautiful Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, with my husband, our son, and our cat, Mercury.

I have been a freelance writer since October 2019. My focus is books, music and the arts and culture. I have written stories for the bilingual newspaper The/La Source and New Canadian Media, where I also helped develop a series of book reviews focusing on immigrant and refugee writers. I have also written book reviews for the feminist literary magazine Room. 

I want to interact thoughtfully with the world, to read, listen and watch with a purpose, to start a conversation and keep it going. Life is amazing. Let’s continue to surprise each other with our insight, our beauty, our words, essentially, with the things we love.
