Bora Chung and Anton Hur must be one of the most exquisite pairs in modern literature. I’m grateful to live in their time. This sentence I underlined, is not the most important in a book of Korean folk and ghost stories, but after feeling soul dead for weeks on end, it lit me up inside exactly as the sentence describes the fire blazed through the storehouse. Little notebook making addiction. I’ve been making covers for my little notebooks. Winter to summer… it’s been a good year. I love dahlias so much. I didn’t know you could do this, but I bought a bag full of rose petals when buying flowers the other day. Can there be anything more beautiful than a small mountain of rose petals? I dried them and then, I made bookmarks with them. And then made more notebooks, not with flowers but with an old piece of wrapping paper I had saved for years and years. It finally found its purpose! This so much fun. I have enjoyed making my little books so much. Maybe I will make more. I will most likely have some extra, so if you would like to have one, let me know! I mostly live inside a fantasy in my head. A prolonged delulu state that’s so much fun, with no rules, jumping from one century to the other, dreaming of a pure state of intellectual and spiritual bliss. It’s an escape. I received so many gifts, some material, many inmaterial, some that I bought myself. Thank you for the gifts!
